Tenting Go60¶
Go60's patent-pending tenting system is specifically designed for easy use while travelling, while providing a wide range of settings so that you can find the right angle for you.
Benefits of tenting¶
If you hold your palm flat on a desk surface and hold it there for a few minutes, you will feel tension on your forearms: this is called forearm pronation. If you rotate your wrists so that the thumb side is raised slightly into the air, you will likely find the position more comfortable. A keyboard like Go60 that accommodates this rotated palm position is called tented (as the shape made by the palms is reminiscent of a tent). The keyboard’s tenting angle is the amount of rotation that the keyboard accommodates.
To address this, we built a modular tenting system into Go60, allowing you to choose the degree of tenting that feels best for you.
How to adjust the tenting angle¶
Finding the most comfortable tenting angle for you is a journey of experimentation. Don’t worry if you don’t get it right the first time. Try what you think would work, test it out, and adjust accordingly.
The tenting bars can be adjusted to 6 different heights. Included with Go60 is a set of tenting components, screws and an allen key.

To assemble a tenting bar:
- Use the Allen key to remove both M3 screws from each tenting bar.
- Adjust the height by removing or adding the plastic extensions. Re-assemble the tenting bar.
- Select M3 screws of appropriate length.
- Insert M3 screws and tighten with Allen key.
Installing the tenting bars¶
Simply align the two raised alignment pins on each tenting bar with the matching two holes on the bottom steel plate of the Go60 half.

Warning
Please do not hold the Go60 by the attached tenting bar. The tenting bar is designed to be easily detachable.
How to travel with tenting bar¶
Remove the two tenting bars from the back of the two halves of Go60.
When not in-use, the two tenting bars are designed to clip together magnetically for self-protection.

The clipped tenting bars can be stored in the small felt bag that comes with Go60.
Further customization of tenting angle¶
If you need an exact tenting angle, rather than one of the stepped tenting angles available through the included components, you can 3D print an extension that is of the exact height you want.
